The release of the K–12 computer science framework in 2016 has established coding as a fundamental component of 21st century literacy. But what exactly does computer science education look like for preschoolers? In this hands-on workshop for educators, learn how computational thinking for young visitors goes beyond coding to reinforce skills essential to reading, math, and social development. Please bring your laptop and/or phone. Preregistration required. Limited to 60 participants. Fee: $25 per person (includes continental breakfast).
